How to get List of Available Pokemon before Gen 6?
I would like to be able to have a list of the Pokemon that will be available in each generation, but before Gen 6. I know that this is the database from Gen 1, but is there a resource on how to get that information?

There is currently no reliable way to obtain this information.
Wikipedia says this in their Gen 2 section:
Because of the release of Pokémon Black and White Version 2 and the
subsequent release of Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White
Version 2, this generation is the first generation where all fifty
Pokémon will be available in the wild. This is also the first
generation where only one region contains all fifty Pokémon.
That source is a bit confusing because it refers to "this generation" as generation 2, but later states that "this generation" refers to generation 3. It also refers to regions as "jurisdictions", which leads me to believe that they consider region as the equivalent of "generation" and I believe that Gen 2 refers to the first generation where the game makes available all the Pokémon available for that particular region.
That's all speculation and I have no way of proving it, but for now, we're still limited to gathering info from Gen 1 and Gen 2.
